Cibotium is a tropical tree fern from South China to Indonesia. It has a slow growing rhizome witch is covered with golden brown hairs. Trunk can reach about 1,5m high and fronds can grow to 3m long.
But the plant has also many medicinal purposes. This is probably the major cause of the decline of this beautiful fern in the wild.
Cibotium is possible to export from Thailand with Phytosanitary certificate, because it is locally grown here.
