Overall information : A new species of Annonaceae, Mitrephora sirikitiae, is described from Mae Hong Son Province in northern Thailand. It is easily distinguished from the seven species of Mitrephora previously recorded from Thailand due to its very large, showy flowers. It is most similar to M. winitii, but differs in its larger flowers, with inner petals that become undulate at maturity. The profuse blooming of the new species and its large flowers with mild fragrance suggest that may be of significant horticultural potential.
One package contains 1 plant, between 40-60cm tall . We ship only healthy (in pot) growing plants. We carefully remove the soil and wrap the roots in humid sterile coconut peat. Then we gently pack the rootball in a plastic bag . After that, we wrap the plant in newspaper and then in a strong cardboard box with Thai registered airmail. EMS is also possible but prices are on request.
In many cases we can provide different size and species. Please email us for more info.
